What better way to start our semester than with a personal review of board games? We may have drawn the short straw when we picked up the deviously enticing and charming title of ‘The Adventurers: The Temple of Chac’ with its mixture of rules and mechanics, but with perseverance you will find yourself eager to replay the game again and again where each outcome could surprise you.

First impressions of the game screamed ‘Indiana Jones’ where the most prominent game piece was a large boulder not to mention the deck of treasure cards. The board had a great aesthetic of platforms and traps ranging from crushing walls, a lava pit, and a rickety bridge.
