LifeCycle – Prototyping & Play-Testing

Throughout the course of this semester, the logistics of my game “Lifecycle” have gone through many minor changes, which improved little aspects each time. In my last blog post, I spoke about my concerns of how many cards that I was going to have to individually write up. I soon realised that around 700 cards was a bit too ambitious at this stage in the production, and that I would have to re-evaluate if more cards were necessary when the game had be play-tested more.

Lifecycle now consists of the following elements:
