Group Project: Game Narrative

This week in class we formed groups and came up with a concept/theme for a board game. Our board game is currently called, ‘Mystery Meat’ (a working title). Players race to receive five stars for their restaurant. They act as the manager of the restaurant overseeing four main categories, food quality, customers, employees and building.

The game begins with each player receiving one strategy card, in which they can use later on to either advantage themselves or disadvantage their opponents. The middle section of the game involves each player taking turns in choosing either two category cards from a row of five or choosing one strategy card. The category cards assist in receiving a star. Once one category card for each of the four categories (food quality, employees, customers and building) has been collected the player receives a star and continues to earn the next star.
