In the introduction to Castle Showdown, I have discussed the narrative and the overview of this card game. Our group has developed the mechanics and components of the game, we came to an agreement that the notion of customization would be available to enhance the strategic thinking of the players, rather than leaving it all to luck.
The main components in Castle Showdown are resources and calamities, each of which will have primary effects on player’s strategy. Resources are divided into three levels of resource equivalent to three stages of the game, however, I will take wood and stone as an example.
