BCM300: Game Confrontation


Successful games all need some level of confrontation in order to increase captivation. My game conveys a level of confrontation through each players character levels (financial and intoxication). These character levels provide obstacles and force the players to become tactical in their approach to the game. Managing your finance levels while also juggling your intoxication levels is where the highest degree of confrontation comes from in the game. The journey through the bar crawl can either be a smooth one or the exact opposite, depending on how effectively you handle this confrontation.

This week I also developed an updated prototype in order to improve the presentation and the overall game play experience when play testing in class. Last week I spoke about introducing the action and scenario cards into my game. During this week, I decided to implement this game mechanic, and now when landing on a giant question markā€¦
