BLOG POST 8: Second playtesting

This week I revised my rules and presented my game to three friends who have never heard of the game before. I wanted them to play the game by themselves and try to figure out the rules and tactics.

When first presented the rules, they liked the outline but immediately reminded me that my rules lack explanation as to what the aim of the game is. I corrected that in revised rules attached.


Reading on, the phase one of the game went by smoothly, there were no complications or questions. The only problem that arose was the meaning of specific place cards, which I now added in the rules as well. That way there is no confusion what each card means and what is its role in the game.


In the second phase there was so confusion with the action cards, because they didn’t understand what it means…
