During class, we were introduced to the mechanism of prototyping a game idea in small groups. Each group were given a few items, and they had to incorporate at least one of the items into the game. For the group that I was in, we were provided with a deck of cards, a few dice and other small devices which we didn’t end up incorporating. The outline for this class task was to keep it simple; yet to try and create a precise theme, set of rules and algorithm which not only your group, but others could understand and enjoy as well.
