The first pitch was focus on the concept of exclusivity and exclusive titles in games, with a focus on the Epic Games takeover of Rocket League. In my feedback I provided several non-academic sources, to show what players were saying about replay value in an informal setting. I also provided two other other sources on exclusivity being against consumers and players, with one article having a focus on Epic Games. I feel these sources will be helpful, especially the sources focusing on the idea that exclusive titles are anti consumer.
By reading the pitch I was able to see the perspective of someone that has had their gaming experience changed by the purchasing of their favourite game, which based on the games that I usually spend my time playing, I had never experienced before.
