Press Start.

This is the start of a new journey for me.

My friends and family know me as someone who loves learning new things and sharing them with people whether they want to know about it or not. I’ve been finding myself going through YouTube wormholes and finding content about things I’m interested in, or even things I didn’t know I was going to be. I want to be someone making that content.

I love film, music, literature, history and culture. I would love to explore these topics the way I do in my personal life on a larger platform.

There are video essay content creators who talk about games that I really enjoy, examples being Nakey Jakey, and Pewdiepie, despite not being one with the culture. I’ve never been a big gamer. I used to have a Playstation 2, however when the third came out, that is when I dropped off. However, I would love to revisit games I did play, and even explore the current scope of gaming culture and what’s available.

A lot of my data would be practical – I still have my console and I have all my games still. Lucky that I’m a hoarder I suppose. However, it would be great to look at various other sources to give the video substance that the audience will feel like they have taken something from.

I would love to make three videos in relation to video games, in the form of video essays. I expect to do one a month over the next three months. In addition to these essays, I’ll be making other video essays as well on various other topics. I want to do this regularly and this is a great way to start.

The goal would be trying to achieve an audience I can have interaction with in some way, hopefully I can achieve that over the next few weeks with my videos.

Here it goes.
