My original concept was formed around a four-part video essay series utilising Youtube as my main paratext to examine whether violent video games have any effects on players aggression levels when returning to reality.

The direction of my digital artefact has had some slight changes which were changed due to helpful feedback from the original project pitch. I have currently published a blog post on the history of the moral panic that surrounds video game violence. I decided to start my research on the history of media violence which dates back to the 1980s. Starting with blog posts was a change that I had incorporated into my artefact from fellow peer feedback. This would hopefully help my audience in gaining a better understanding of the dense information and research that surrounds this topic along with the relevant references.
