My digital artefact looked at why the media always links violent gameplay to physical violence. I chose to do this topic as it is relevant towards society now especially after the many mass shootings which have occurred in America and were blamed on violent video games. To communicate my findings, I presented the information found through a series of blog posts, three in total.
To effectively research my topic, I created an analytical framework which would help to look at the many aspects of my topic. I wanted my analysis to fit in with a post-structuralist dimension of my topic to look beyond the theories associated with the media and why they do this.
