Background

The central point of my Digital artefact is on the topic of video game violence and if there is any link to physical aggression and behaviours. This topic was chosen as it is an ongoing debate and focal point of the gaming world and also something of interest to myself. There is an excessive amount of research and case studies along with ongoing debates and opinions that I felt would be interesting to further unpack. My digital artefact concept focuses on a topic that would be of high interest as it is a relevant and popular issue.

Analytical framework

A comprehensive analytical framework was utilised to help further investigate the topic in a depth manner. I chose to take a poststructuralist approach as I wanted to focus on the extensive amount of research and data already existing on the topic.
