Fortnite is one of the biggest video games in the world with 250 million players and Minecraft slowly behind with 112 million. Therefore, my digital artefact for BCM215 consisted of a 3-part series, analysing the addiction between games such as Fortnite and Minecraft. My artefact took a structuralist approach focusing on the games features and game modes.
Within each of the videos I specifically spoke about the spatiality of the games, focusing on the platforms that the game is available on, as well as modality which analyses if the game is available as a single or multiplayer.
