Power is defined as the ability or capacity to do something or act in a particular way or the capacity or ability to direct or influence the behaviour of others or the course of events. This power in a sense is an element a player can obtain through online Video games. This is believed to be the core reason that video games, especially online have become a prevalent form of entertainment in current culture.
Power in video games is the overall objective, I found a recent study from The Interactive Games & Entertainment Association (IGEA) in July this year that discussed video gaming statistics and the role of power here are some key points I took from the study :
