During the first few weeks of the session, I played three different games with my classmates. These included Codenames, Sushi Dice and lastly The Botch. In this blog post, I will be doing a critical account of my gameplay of ‘The Botch’.
‘The Botch’ was a game created by my Tudor Richard Hall and Talen Lee. It is a card game which focuses on the skills of bluffing to your team members in order to finesse your way through the game to win. The narrative of the game comes from the idea of those criminal movies where everything seems to be going wrong. It uses the idea that there is a heist which has gone wrong and each of the players (criminals) is picking through the wreckage where there are diamonds to be found.
