Escaping a Rock

#BCM300 is a subject that’s forced me to evict myself from the rock I’ve been living under regarding board games. I know my video games… but board games? Not so much. Popular family games like Scrabble and Monopoly were pretty much the extent of my familiarity with board games prior to this subject.

The first week covered the foundational games: games revolving around one mechanic going over and over. Many of these games included attributes of timing and physical dexterity. I was fortunate enough to be grouped up with some awesome people and we began to play our first game: ‘Love Letter’. The game was designed by Seiji Kanai and published by Z-Man Games.
