This blog post will provide a summary of the BCM300 Group Game Project that Jonathan Pica, Caitlin Ross and I are currently developing as well as my individual contribution towards the concept and overall functionality of our game which is called ‘Threee Last BrainCellZ’.
Before settling on the final idea of ‘Threee Last BrainCellZ’ we had a Google Doc where we jotted down potential game ideas.
Our own personal game experiences which stemmed from previous game play with family and friends as well as table top seminars gave us an idea games we all enjoyed and narrowed what aspects of the games we enjoyed. The most popular game we had all played and enjoyed was ‘Cards Against Humanity’. In this game we found different mechanisms of the game which we enjoyed such as the game loop, game materials and genre.
