Our group project Hectic Kaikus is a game that focuses on rapidly creating haikus based on a given theme with an included word. The role of the judge of each round is passed between the players in a circle, much like Cards Against Humanity, with the judge not writing a haiku and selecting the winner of the round. At the beginning of the round, the judge blindly draws a theme card and a word card, with each player required to write a haiku utilising this theme and word. As the round comes to an end, players read their haikus aloud and the judge selects a winner at their discretion.
