Cooking With Cooking Mama Beta – Bella’s Beta

Bella has been making recipes out of the popular video game Cooking Mama and recreating them in real life, posting side-by-side videos of her cooking and the games to TikTok and Instagram Reels.

I mentioned in my comment that Bella’s project worked nicely with the ideas Chris spoke about in our Week 8 lecture on Computer Games as Participatory Media Culture and suggested that this is a framework she could use throughout the rest of her project.

I also saw that Bella had used one of the sources that I recommend to her on her pitch blog, which was about simulation games and how games such as cooking games make you feel a physical presence.
