Pink Games – Contextual Report

Introduction

In my DA, I critically looked at ‘Pink Games’ and how they came to be. Looking closely at the specific example of Imagine Babies 3D and critically analysing it using a feminist framework, all to conclude why I believe women in video games are there the way that they are.

Analytical frame work

The primary analytical frame work used throughout this project is a feminist one, as I focus on identifying female stereotypes within games.

Iteration cycle

  • For this DA, I decided to present my findings in blog post format as I found that it best allowed me to express all my research and findings clearly and directly to my audience.
