BCM 215: Contextual Report

When tasked with exploring a game media text for my DA I immediately knew that a video essay was the format to which I wanted to communicate my ideas. The ability to formulate points in a manner that projects all other media mediums has the ability to keep an audience engaged while also offering up critiques and perspectives. However, what exactly game and concept I would analysing was something that I struggled with. I have played games for a long time and had several ideas but none brought out much of an instinctual passion. While playing Doom Eternal a thought popped in my head of how weak the gameplay would be without the musical presence.
