After releasing the pitch video, I received some comments saying that I should include more details and examples, and make the numbers more visually appealing. I have incorporated the feedback into this DA video. In this video, I talked about the evolution of crossplay in gaming, how this trend has changed how game publishers operate their business, how this has changed the way gamers interact with each other, and what I think the future will be like for crossplay.

Crossplay wasn’t available until the 7th generation of consoles came out, and there were early attempts already back then, namely, Maximum Pool, Quake 3 Arena, and Phantasy Star Online. Starting from 2016, game publishers like Microsoft and Nintendo started to allow crossplay across their platforms.
